USMS Registration Information

The chart below describes how Michigan Masters LMSC is organized. The LMSC is divided into Clubs, and Clubs can be divided into workout groups......Workout groups are a designation that is recognized within the LMSC ONLY....when swimming at any USMS sanctioned meet OUTSIDE of the LMSC (Michigan), including National or World meets, you swim for your club....NOT your workout group. We swim for our respective Workout groups ONLY when we swim at the State Championship meet.....at all other times we swim for our Club.

Also note: If you designate your club as "unattached" you cannot swim for any relays at any meet...or swim as a part of any club at either in-state or out of state meets

Also, please consider donating to the Michigan Masters Scholarship fund. If you know of a worthy applicant for the scholarship please have them apply. Information about the scholarship is listed HERE.

The easiest and most inexpensive way to register for USMS is to use the online procedure. However, if you choose to use a paper entry you can also use that method, although you will be charged a processing fee if you use this method. The paper registration form can be found here.
