Larry Day Sets A World Record
Larry Day set his first World Record after setting 9 USMS National Records this past year. He swam a time of 2:33.40 in the 200 Meter Fly in the 65-69 age-group at a meet in Munster Indiana on June 12, 2016.

USMS 2 Mile Cable Open Water National Championship – 2016
190 USMS swimmers swam in the 2-Mile USMS National Championship Open Water Swim held at the Eagle Creek Reservoir in Indianapolis. 5 Michigan Masters swimmers swam the race with Christian Vanderkaay winning the Men’s 30-34 age-group. Pete Pultz (50-54) age-group and King Yeager (65-69) age-group swam to 3rd places in their age-group. Doug Templeton (60-64) age-group swam to an 8th place and Jef Malett (50-54) swam to a 13th place in the 50-54 age-group.
