Location: The Allegan Aquatic Center is located at 1560 M-40 N; Allegan, MI 49010 adjacent to Allegan High School. The Aquatic Center parking lot and entrance are located on the south side of the building (to the left as you are looking at the front of the building). .

Facility:  The Allegan Aquatic Center has a 25-yard, 8 lane competition pool with a warm-water activity pool area, which contains a 3-lane, 15-yard lessons pool.

Lanes are separated with non-turbulent lane markers. The competition pool has permanent 24”x32” non-slip pvc-grated starting blocks. Depth at start and diving end is 13 feet and 4 feet at the turn end. 8 lane digital wall display for times, places and splits. There is plenty of parking and seating for spectators. Locker rooms are available and athletes should put on a lock. It would be wise to leave valuables at home and Allegan is not responsible for lost or stolen items.  The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1. The primary timing system will be automated with sound device at the start and swimmer touching the pad at the finish with the time recorded on a scoreboard. Official times from this automated timing system will be submitted for USMS Records and USMS Top Ten times for all courses. For Short/Long Course Meters the time will be submitted to FINA

Eligibility: Only swimmers with a USMS membership will be allowed to compete. This meet is in the beginning of the New Year so remember to register! If you register for USMS less than 48 hours prior to our meet please bring a photocopy of your 2024 Membership. If you’re not currently a member, apply now on the web at http://registration.usms.org/reg/

Please show your card/registration number when you arrive Swimmers may enter a max of 5 events – not including the Relay (all relays will be deck entered)

Entries:
On-Line Registration: $35   Online registration closes Friday, 1/19/24, at 9:00pm

Deck Entry Registration: $40. Deck entries will close at 9:30 AM.

Times: Session I Check in and Warm up 8:00 am-8:40 am
Session I Starts 8:45 am and will consist only of the first 16 entries received for the 1000 Free. We will call if you’re not in the 1,000. If not at max and you are coming early, we will allow deck entries first come basis.

Deck Registration Session II only will close at 9:30 am
Session II Check in and Warm up will begin when 1,000 is done -10:50 am
Session II Starts 11:00

Meet Snacks: Provided by the Allegan Swim Teams and is included in your entry fee.

REFUND POLICY: By registering for this swim meet, you have purchased a “ticket”. As with a ticket to any sports or entertainment event, there are no refunds or credits if you are unable to attend.
